**Status:** Fixed since August 2026

**How to recognise it**
While the problem existed, you saw an OOCL barge departure published with a gate-out code instead of a vessel departure code. The event looked like a gate move, not a vessel departure.

**Which shipments this affects**
OOCL barge departures and arrivals.

**Cause**
OOCL reports the pre-carriage leg with transport mode Barge.

**What changed**
OOCL barge departures and arrivals now show as vessel departure and arrival events instead of gate-out and gate-in.

**Is past data corrected?**
No. The fix applies from that month on; earlier data stays as it was.

**How to check your shipment**
Open the shipment’s event list and look at the barge departure and arrival codes. A barge departure should show as a vessel departure, and a barge arrival should show as a vessel arrival. If a barge event still shows gate-out or gate-in, contact support.

**Do you need to do anything?**
Nothing.
