To share notifications, configure them per flag for your colleagues, and configure them inside the partner’s own Dockflow account for partners. Sharing a flag alone does not create partner notifications.

1. For colleagues, go to Automations and open the Flags tab. For the flag you want, click Configure Notifications. Choose Direct Email or Daily Report. Choose the recipient option that fits the flag, such as Lead Contact or Team. Save changes; they take effect immediately for future flag assignments.

2. For a team recipient, create the team in Settings \> Teams, add members, then use Team as the recipient option for the flag. Team members receive notifications.

3. For partners, the partner must have a Dockflow account and access to the specific tradeflow to see shared flags. To set up partner notifications, use delegated access to log in to the partner’s account. In that account, go to Automations \> Flags, open the flag, and configure notifications there. Sharing a flag does not automatically create notifications for partners; those must be set up separately.

4. Notifications can only be sent to registered Dockflow users, not external email addresses.

**Example**
A forwarder wants a customs-hold flag to alert its own operations team and a partner broker. The forwarder sets the flag’s recipient to Team for its staff. The broker sees the shared flag only after the flag is shared and the broker has tradeflow access. The broker’s account admin then configures notifications for that flag in the broker account.
