In an Excel import, Dockflow matches the Lead Contact column to a user who already exists in your organization. The user must be set up before the import.

The Lead Contact column is one of the assignment fields in the import. Use the user’s registered email address or full name in that column. An email address must match the user’s registered email exactly. A full name is case-sensitive and must match exactly.

If Dockflow cannot match the value to an existing user, the lead contact assignment is skipped. The tradeflow still imports, but without a lead contact. Check the import report for details on which lead contact assignments succeeded or failed.

**Example**
A file lists a lead contact by the user’s registered email address. Dockflow finds the existing user whose email matches exactly and assigns that user. If the email does not match, the tradeflow still imports, but the lead contact assignment is skipped.
