**Status:** Fixed since August 2026

**How to recognise it**
You saw a shipment leg linked to a different vessel with a similar name. The linked vessel name started with the booked vessel name and had another word after it.

**Which shipments this affects**
This affected shipment legs where the linked vessel name or alternate name started with the booked vessel name followed by another word. Exact alternate name matches were not affected.

**What changed**
Vessel names that only start with the booked name and add another word are no longer accepted unless an alternate name matches exactly. The shipment leg stays with the booked vessel in that case.

**Is past data corrected?**
No. The fix applies from that month on; earlier data stays as it was.

**How to check your shipment**
Open the shipment leg and compare its vessel name with the vessel on your booking. Contact support if the linked vessel is a different vessel with a name that starts with the booked name and adds another word.

**Do you need to do anything?**
Nothing.
