Temperature readings come from a device or logger linked to a container in the shipment. When nothing shows, check these four things.

1. Is the right container selected? Temperature is shown per container. In a shipment with several containers, select the one that carries the logger.
2. Is a device linked at all? Open the shipment and look under its data sources and devices. If no logger is listed, it has not been linked yet. Send support the shipment reference, the container number and the logger’s serial number, and they can link it.
3. Is it a truck shipment? Loggers are linked to a container record. For a truck load without a container, create a container entry for the shipment; the identifier does not have to be a real container number. Then link the logger to it.
4. Was the logger added after the order was last sent in? If your orders arrive through an integration, a logger added later is only picked up when the order is updated again. Trigger an update in your own system, or ask support to refresh it. No readings are lost; the history comes along.

If a logger is linked and still shows nothing, support can check with the logger provider whether the serial number exists and whether the device sent any readings. Do this before replacing the hardware.

When a journey ends, a logger can show as disabled. That is expected and does not affect readings from the trip.

**Example**
A reefer shipment with several containers shows no temperature. First select the container that carries the logger, because readings are shown per container. If it still shows nothing, open the data sources and devices. When no logger is listed, send support the shipment reference, the container number and the logger’s serial number so they can link it.
