**Status:** Fixed since November 2024

**How to recognise it**
You set a workflow task status, such as Waiting, on a purchase order. Later the task showed its default status again. The task was still on the purchase order, but the status you chose was gone. The default status appeared in place of the status you had chosen.

**Which shipments this affects**
This affected workflow tasks on purchase orders.

**What changed**
A status you assign to a workflow task on a purchase order stays as set. It is not overwritten unless the task’s open or closed state changes. The status you chose is kept. You do not need to set the status again after an update.

**Is past data corrected?**
Nothing to correct: the change affects how new data is read.

**How to check your shipment**
Open the purchase order and look at the workflow task. Confirm it shows the status you set. If it has changed back to its default, contact support and say which status you expected.

**Do you need to do anything?**
Nothing.
