How to recognise it
A Hapag-Lloyd vessel arrival or departure at Tanger Med, and sometimes at Tenerife, Mazatlan, Matadi or Punta Arenas, appeared one hour later than the vessel’s actual position showed.
Which shipments this affects
Hapag-Lloyd vessel arrivals and departures at ports where its clock differs from the standard time-zone tables: Tanger Med, and also Tenerife, Mazatlan, Matadi and Punta Arenas. Hapag-Lloyd times at other ports were not affected.
Cause
At these ports Hapag-Lloyd keeps a clock that differs by an hour from the standard time-zone tables.
What changed
Dockflow now converts Hapag-Lloyd times at a port using the offset Hapag-Lloyd itself states for that port. Ports where Hapag-Lloyd states no offset keep the standard time zone.
Is past data corrected?
No. The fix applies to new events; earlier events keep their original wording.
How to check your shipment
Compare a new arrival or departure time at one of these ports with the vessel’s position on the map. They should now line up. If a new event is still an hour off, send support the shipment reference and the name of the port.
Do you need to do anything?
Nothing.
