To set a flag on shipments in Dockflow, configure an automation rather than setting the flag by hand for day-to-day work. Flags are set by automations when their conditions match real events.
- Open Automations → Overview.
- Define the rule: the trigger, any conditions, and the outcome that applies the flag.
- When the automation runs, Dockflow can apply the flag to the relevant tradeflow or container.
- Use Automations → Flags to set per-event behaviour: backup contact, sharing with partners, and notification delivery.
- Check Dashboard → Flags to see the active flags that the automation has set.
The Flags screen is for the settings around the event.
Example
A rule can use an ETA-change trigger. On Automations → Overview, you build the rule with an outcome that applies the flag. When the ETA change matches, Dockflow applies the flag to the relevant tradeflow or container. The flag then appears on Dashboard → Flags, and the Flags tab controls backup contact, sharing, and notification delivery.
