Set the rule shape on the Monitor dwell automation step, then enter the free days in Dwell Center.
-
On Monitor dwell, tick Port as a differentiator so each port can have its own rule.
-
If the carrier splits free time, use the type that matches each window: storage for terminal storage, demurrage for time inside the terminal, detention for time outside the terminal, and combined when one pooled clock covers both.
-
The type is a dropdown on the same step, and the wording is exact.
-
In Dwell Center, enter the number of free days for each port and type combination.
Check that the combination actually carries a number, because an empty value is treated the same as no rule.
Example
A forwarder has two ports with different carrier free time. On Monitor dwell, Port is ticked. In Dwell Center, one port gets storage free days and equipment in-port free days; the other port gets its own values. If the carrier uses one pooled clock, the combined type is used instead.
