Views you save are personal. To make a view appear for every user, add it to your company’s blueprint. A blueprint is the set of view tabs that users on the account see. Only an administrator can change it.
- Create and save the view first, and check that it shows the right rows and columns.
- Open Settings and go to Organisation.
- Scroll down to the Blueprint section, near theme and branding.
- Click Edit next to your company’s blueprint.
- Tick the box next to your new view. Untick views nobody uses any more.
- Save.
Users see the new tab after refreshing the page or logging in again. They can reorder their tabs, but they cannot change or delete a shared view. If you later edit the view itself, the change reaches everyone automatically and the blueprint does not need updating.
Different views for different groups, for example an import team and an export team, can be handled with separate blueprints.
If a shared tab does not appear for someone, check that the blueprint was saved, then ask the user to log out and back in.
Example
Your planners should all see one list of this week’s arrivals. An administrator builds and saves the view, opens the Blueprint section, clicks Edit, ticks the new view and saves. The planners refresh and see the new tab, which they can move but not delete. Later the administrator adds a column to the view. Every planner sees that column without anyone touching the blueprint again.
