Generate your API key in the API Console. Sign in to the API Console with your Dockflow account. Open API Keys and stay on the API keys tab. Click Create Key. Fill in a Name, choose the Environment as Production or UAT, and choose the Scopes the key is for: Downstream, Upstream and/or Widget. Widget cannot be combined with other scopes. Copy the key before you leave the page. It is shown only once. A key belongs to your organisation, not to the user who created it, and works for one environment. The API Keys page has an API keys tab for creating, renaming and revoking Trident API keys.
Example
A logistics staff member signs in to the API Console, opens API Keys, stays on the API keys tab, clicks Create Key, names the key Production Integration, chooses Production and Downstream, then copies the key before leaving the page. The key is shown only once, so the staff member saves it first.
