Two places, and both have to be right.
1. The shape of the rule is set on the automation step Monitor dwell. This is where you
choose what a rule is allowed to differ by: Country, Port, Incoterm, Reefer, Dangerous Goods, Tank
Container, Carrier, and Client. Whatever you tick here defines how specific a rule has to be
before Dockflow will consider it a match.
2. The number of free days is set in Dwell Center.
The type is a dropdown on the same step, and the wording is exact:
- Destination demurrage (legacy)
- Destination detention (legacy)
- Equipment Free Time In Port
- Equipment Free Time Out Of Port
- Equipment Free Time Combined
- Storage Free Time
- Electricty Free Time (spelled that way in the product; electricity free time)
Example
A user ticks Port and Dangerous Goods on Monitor dwell, thinking that alone defines the rule. They then look for where free days are set and find Dwell Center. The rule must match the specificity chosen on Monitor dwell, while the free days are set separately in Dwell Center using the type dropdown.
