This is usually a matter of how rows are counted rather than duplicate data. A shipment with several containers can appear once per container, depending on which view you are in.
- The Tradeflows view shows one row per shipment.
- The Containers view shows one row per container, so a shipment with several containers shows one row for each container.
If you see repeated rows in a view you built yourself, check the type filter:
- Open the view.
- Click Filter.
- Set the type to tradeflow for one row per shipment, or to container for one row per container.
- Click Apply and save the view, so it stays that way.
If a shipment still appears twice in a one-row-per-shipment view, it may really exist twice, for example when the same order was uploaded twice under different references. In that case, deactivate the extra one, or contact support with both references so they can be merged.
A tip for finding shipments with several containers: use the Containers view and sort or filter on the bill of lading.
Example
A colleague saves a view from the Containers view and reads each row as a shipment, so a shipment with several containers looks duplicated. Open the view, click Filter and set the type to tradeflow, then click Apply and save. Each shipment now has one row. Set it back to container when you want to work per box.
